Illumination

An extraordinary light concept for the interior area of the Restaurant Fahr in Sulz, Switzerland. Originating from a large circle shaped window and profiled wall coverings we took elements of the architecture to influence the design of a modern multiple chandelier.

The LED modules are surrounded by a wooden frame. While the frame is processed with a copper effect paint, the notches are covered with acrylic glasses. These appear dark when the light is off, and bright white when switched on.

The awarding authority and the architect are both impressed – now the implementation phase with float and punctual light elements need to be optimized towards the brigthness and requirements within the room.
