A Life Changing Experience
After the success of our short film “It’s time to act. Now.“, we have collaborated with various environmental organizations to produce a documentary film that follows Sue Quelch’s life-changing journey to Antarctica. Her commitment and experiences impressively demonstrate how each of us can contribute to the preservation of our environment.
We felt very honored after the first nomination of the film for the Barcelona International Environmental Film Festival – not knowing what this would mean for the months to come. Additional nominations for the “On the Beach” Sofia International Film Festival, the Wildlife Conservation Film Festival in Monterrey, Mexio. Semi Finalist for both, the Dubai Independent Film Festival and the Munich Short Film Awards. And then peaking by winning the London International Filmmakers Festival and the Rome International Short Film Festival.
Last but not least we reached Hollywood and achieved a “honorable mention” grade at the Los Angeles Short Film Awards. These film festival nominations are of course important milestones for our film making career. But even more important is the awareness we’ve been able to create around the globe for both, the organisations that dedicate themselves to rescue the Antarctic peninsula, and the problematic situation the region is facing currently.
