Tracking the Emperor Penguins

For our film project “EMPEROR – The Melting March”, we travelled to Cambridge for a series of interviews. One of the highlights was our conversation with Peter Fretwell, award-winning cartographer and lead scientist at the British Antarctic Survey.

His research provides fascinating insights into the movements and shifts of penguin colonies across Antarctica, as well as the growing impact of climate change on their habitat. These interview sequences will make an essential contribution to our documentary, scheduled for release in spring 2027.
