Acrylic Sculpture

For PPC, the idea emerged to create a modular acrylic sculpture that brings together technology, design, and interaction. The starting point of the concept was the ambition to develop an object that not only presents products but makes them tangible and experiential—flexible, adaptable, and defined by a clear architectural language. The result is a system of 36 acrylic columns in varying heights, rising from a solid oak foundation. The oiled oak base creates a deliberate contrast to the transparent acrylic: warm and organic at its core, precise and technical in its vertical expression.

An integrated magnetic mechanism allows different device compositions to be mounted onto the individual columns and rearranged at any time. The sculpture is also divisible into two independent units, enabling parallel use or adaptation to different spatial environments. From the outset, it was designed for mobile deployment: easy to assemble and disassemble, transport-friendly, and robust in handling. At each new location, a different visual configuration can emerge. Employees, customers, and partners are invited to actively engage with the installation, playfully creating new arrangements—an object that not only showcases products, but fosters dialogue and interaction.
