Built to Lead: Abu Dhabi Waste-to-Enegy Plant
For Kanadevia Inova, we produced a film about the landmark Abu Dhabi Waste-to-Energy Plant — one of the world’s most advanced facilities of its kind. The project will process more than 900,000 tons of waste per year and generate 80 MW of renewable energy, enough to power over 50,000 homes. Scheduled for completion in 2027, the plant will operate with an optimized two-line system, including the largest single waste-to-energy process line ever built. The short film offers a glimpse of powerful site footage, in-depth technical insights, and project leaders highlighting the strategic importance of this global collaboration.
Our contribution included the production of a one-minute trailer and a comprehensive short documentary featuring aerial, ground, and interview footage. From the initial concept and storyboard development to on-site filming, post-production, and final publication, the entire process was marked by seamless collaboration between all partners involved. We are grateful for the excellent cooperation and look forward to continuing this joint journey in documenting the construction of this remarkable facility in Abu Dhabi.
