Application Shop Demo

For Power Plus Communications AG, we developed a forward-looking “Application Suite” – an app store concept for smart meter gateways, submetering, and control applications. Within just a few weeks, we created a fully functional demonstration environment designed in line with current UX standards. The tool features a clearly structured dashboard with quick access to all relevant areas. In “My Applications,” apps can be deployed directly to end devices within the power grid, with the installation process impressively and realistically simulated. An integrated shop area allows users to browse, purchase, and implement additional applications. The suite is complemented by administrative sections including a transparent billing overview, individual settings, and contact options.

The Application Suite demo was conceived both as a foundation for further internal development and as a powerful presentation tool for trade fairs and mobile devices. It was first introduced to a broad professional audience at E-world energy & water in Essen, where it successfully demonstrated a tangible vision of a modular and scalable ecosystem for digital energy solutions.
